A. Educational Qualification:
1. 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution with a minimum of 5 years experience in Construction/Maintenance of Buildings after getting the diploma. OR Graduate in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university with 2 years experience in Construction/Maintenance of Buildings after getting the degree.
2. Should possess Supervisory Competency Certificate ‘C’ issued by Tamil Nadu Electrical Licensing Board.
B. Nature of Employment: Contractual.
C. Period of contract: Fixed Term Contract of 3 years.
D. Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be paid total emoluments of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty thousand only) per month. No other allowance/benefit will be paid except for the above emoluments. The candidates will not have any claim or preference in the matter of employment in Air India Limited or its subsidiary companies by virtue of this contract.

Between 18 and 30 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC and for Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. rules)

How to Apply:
1. Candidates who wish to apply are advised to send their application in the prescribed format along with a set of self-attested photocopies of all certificates of Educational Qualification, Experience, Date of birth, Caste and other related documents and a recent passport size color photograph duly pasted on the application. Along with the application form candidate should attach a Demand Draft of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) (not applicable for SC/ST/ExServicemen) in favor of “Air India Limited” payable at Chennai. 2. The envelope should be superscribed as “Application For The Post Of Clerk Of Works(Electrical) On Contract Basis.
3. Candidates employed in Govt./Semi Govt./Public Sector Undertaking if selected should get No Objection Certificate from their respective companies at the time of interview.
4. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS category must be in possession of Caste Certificate in the prescribed format issued by Appropriate Authority on Central Govt. Employment format. Please also note that the validity of the “Non-Creamy layer should not be older than SIX (06) months from the date of the eligibility i.e. 01.06.2019.
5. The applicant/candidates must ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria, as on 1st June 2019, and that the particulars furnished by them in the Application Form are correct in all respects. At any stage of the Selection Process or thereafter, if the particulars provided by the candidates in the Application or testimonials supplied are found incorrect/false, or not meeting with the eligibility requirements prescribed for the post, the candidature is liable to be rejected and, if appointed, services terminated, without giving any notice or reasons therefore.
6. Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidate or bringing political or other outside influence, with regard to their engagement/selection shall be considered a Disqualification.
