Other Qualification Details:
A. Minimum Educational: Qualification Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from university recognized by State/Central Government. If such candidates are not available in particular specialty, those without PG qualification but having at least three years experience after MBBS, out of which one year Junior Residency from a Government Hospital in the concerned specialty can be considered.
B. Tenure of Senior Residency:
1. The contract of appointment for Senior Resident will be one year but the total period of Senior Residency cannot exceed the maximum period of three years, subject to renewal/extension every year.
2. The termination of contract can be done on one month notice or pay from either side.
C. Emoluments: For Senior Residents having Post Graduate degree Basic Pay + NPA 67,700 + NPA + DA For Senior Residents with only PG Diploma the above amount shall be reduced by Rs.325/- per month and the same will be reduced by Rs.650/- per month if without Diploma/PG Degree.
D. Allowances:
1. NPA (Non-Practicing Allowance) The element of such allowance has been included in the monthly emolument indicted above.
2. PG allowance For PG degree holder – Rs.200/- per month. For PG Diploma holder – Rs.100/- per month. This allowance is also already included in the total emoluments mentioned above. Hence, In case the Senior Resident is having only PG Diploma, a sum of Rs.100/- and in case he neither has PG Degree nor Diploma a sum of Rs.200/- per month will be deducted from his emoluments.
3. Dearness Allowance & HRA Entitlement to these allowances is as per Central Government rules on the basis of their monthly emoluments.
E. Accommodation Free residential unfurnished sharing accommodation would be provided to Senior Residents subject to availability. No HRA will be admissible if accommodation is provided.
F. Leave entitlements :
i. One day weekly off by rotation ii. Entitled to total 20 days leave in one contract year which can be availed as not more than 10 in six months period.
iii. Not entitled to any vacation or any other type of leave.
G. Medical Treatment Facility Free OPD treatment Medical facility as available in Railway Hospital will be provided to the Senior Residents for self, spouse &children. Free Indoor Medical treatment as available in Railway Hospital will be extended to self only in an emergency and acute illness situation There shall not be any provision for a referral to other Private Medical Centers for treatment.
H. Duties and Responsibilities Duties and responsibilities of the Senior Residents will be as fixed by the Railway administration from time to time. They will be required to perform any work as may be needed in the legitimate interest of Railway administration including National Programmes or during Railway accidents, in addition to their specialty work. The Senior Resident Doctors will be required to be on call duty not exceeding 12 hours/day.

8. Economically weaker section certificate issued by Competent Authority in the prescribed format in Annexure I and related information/instructions as issued by Department of Personnel and Training, Govt. of India, by the Candidates who wish to apply in EWS quota.
9. NOC from the present employer.

Walk in interview for filling up the post of Sr.Residents to be held on 16.05.2019.at 12.00. hrs in Jagjivanram Hospital, W.Rly.Mumbai. Applications are invited for the following posts of Sr.Residents in Jagjivanram Hospital, Western Railway, Mumbai Central, Mumbai 400 008. Applicants are requested to submit their application on 16.05.2019 between 10.00 to 12.00 hrs in Room No.22 of Jagjivan Ram Hospital for Walk in an interview. Applications received after the stipulated time will not be considered. Thereafter, if any of the above posts remain vacant, walk in interview will be conducted on every first and third Thursday Senior resident’s post of Jagjivanram Hospital, W.Rly.Mumbai Central is accreditated for DMER, Mumbai, Maharashtra Government Post PG Service Bond a per their letter dated 15.01.2015
