UPSC Notification 2019.Union Public Service Commission has released a notification for National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (I), 2019. An Examination will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on 21st April, 2019 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 143rd Course, and for the 105th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 2nd January, 2020.

1. National Defence Academy: 342 (208 for Army, 42 for Navy and 92 for Air Force)
2. Naval Academy: 50 (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme)
Total no. of posts: 392
Qualification:
For Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics.
Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2019.
Age Limit: Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd July, 2000 and not later than 1st July, 2003 are eligible.
Selection Process:
Based on Stage-I (Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests are Picture Perception & Description Test (PP&DT), Stage-II (Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and the Conference), medical examination.
