Qualification Details:
1. Consultant [Asstt. Director (Planning)]:
a. Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Planning / Architecture / Civil /Municipal Engineering or Master Degree in Geography /Sociology/Economics from a recognized University/Institute or equivalent. (ii)Post graduation in Planning with specialization in any of the field of Town/City/Urban/Housing/Transport/Environmental Planning from a recognized University/Institute or equivalent.
b. Desirable: Degree/Diploma in Geographic Information System (GIS) /Geo-Informatics or equivalent from a recognized University /Institute. Associate Membership of the Institute of Town Planners (India). 05 years’ experience required
2. Consultant [Asstt. Director (Planning)]:
a. Essential (i) Bachelor’s Degree in Planning/Architecture/Civil/Municipal Engineering or Master Degree in Geography/Sociology/Economics from a recognized University/Institute or equivalent. (ii)Post graduation in Planning with specialization in any of the field of Town/City /Urban/Housing /Transport / Environmental Planning from a recognized University / Institute or equivalent.
b. Desirable: i) Degree/Diploma in Geographic Information System (GIS)/Geo-Informatics or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute. ii) Associate Membership of the Institute of Town Planners (India).
3. Consultant [Asst. Director (GIS)]:
Master in Regional Planning/ Urban Planning/ Geography/ Geo Informatics with Degree or Diploma with one or more than one year course in Geographical information System(GIS) or equivalent from any university or institute.
Experience & Skillsets: (a) Candidates should have experience in use of CAD software. (b) At least five years working experience of GIS mapping (preferably related to Delhi City) by using latest version Arch. GIS software. (c) Knowledge of using Delhi revenue Maps for planning purpose on GIS Platform. (d) The candidate should have working knowledge on use of satellite imagery for Urban Planning exercise. (e) Must be proficient in the use of GIS based datasets and demonstrate relevant work experience in strictly Urban Planning application of GIS.
4. Consultant (GIS):
Qualification: Degree in Geographical Information System (GIS) or GeoInformatics or Geo-spatial related course or equivalent from any University or Institute.
Experience & Skillsets: a) At least One year working Experience of GIS mapping (Preferably related to Delhi City) by Using latest version of Arc. GIS software. b) Candidates should also have experience in use of CAD software. c) Knowledge of Using Delhi Revenue Maps for planning purpose on GIS Platform d) The candidate should have working knowledge on use of Satellite Imagery for Urban Planning Exercise. e) Must be proficient in the use of GIS bases datasets and demonstrate relevant work experience in strictly urban planning applications of GIS.

Selection Procedure:
1. The criteria for selection shall include the marks obtained by the candidate in the required essential qualifications for the post, relevant experience along with the marks obtained in interview.
2. DDA reserves the right to impose a minimum cut-off percentage of marks in the essential qualifications obtained by the prospective candidates in case of large number of applicants turn out for the interview. The decision in this regard will be taken on the spot, no representation of any kind shall be entertained in this regard.
How to Apply:
1. The candidates are advised to report for walk-in-interview on the scheduled date latest by 10:00 AM at Conference Hall, 5th floor, Delhi Development Authority, Vikas Minar, New Delhi-110002, failing which they will not be allowed to appear for interview under any circumstances.
2. The posts are temporary and engagement is purely on contractual basis initially for a period of 1 Year which may be extended further depending upon the requirement and satisfactory performance and will confer no right to the candidates for permanent employment against the said posts. Candidates are requested to bring duly filled in Application form (in prescribed format), 02 passport size photographs and all original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies of the documents in support of the educational qualification and experience, if any, on the date of interview.
