Technical Assistant:
Salary: Rs. 35,400/- Per Month
Qualification Details:
1. First Class B.Sc. with Chemistry as one of the subjects from a recognised University with one year experience in Chemistry field from a recognized Institute/Organisation.
2. Desirable Qualification: Experience in coal sampling and sub sampling and coal analysis/testing and analysis by using TGA, Bomb Calorimeter, CHN Analyzer, Sulphur analyzer, Ash Fusion Temperature Apparatus, XRF etc./Characterization test/screening washability studies of coal.
Age: Not exceeding 28 years as on 27/07/2018
Technical Officer:
Salary: Rs. 44,900/- Per Month
Qualification Details:
1. B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in Chemical Engineering with 55% marks from a recognised Institute/University.
2. Experience in unit operation/analytical techniques for beneficiation of coal/mineral.
Age: Not exceeding 30 years as on 27/07/2018

Selection Procedure:
1. The prescribed Essential Qualifications are a bare minimum and mere possession of the same will not entitle the candidates to be called for Trade Test. The Screening committee will adopt its own criteria to shortlist the candidates for Trade test. The candidates should, therefore, furnish in the relevant field column all the qualifications and experience that they have acquired over and above the minimum prescribed qualifications.
2. The candidates as recommended by the Screening Committee will be invited for a trade test. Those who qualify in the trade test will invited for a competitive written examination. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance of the candidates in the competitive written examination.
3. A duly constituted Selection Committee will conduct the trade test and the competitive written examination for the candidates to evaluate their suitability for the post.
4. Syllabus for the written test will be as per Annex V of CSIR Letter No. 5-1(315)/2015-PD dated 09/04/2018 (available at CSIR website under notification title).

3. The applicant making online application must possess a valid e-mail id and mobile number for the verification/authentication purpose.
4. Please click for the details against the post you wish to apply. The vacancy detail will now appear on the screen.
5. On the bottom of the Advertisement, you will find five menus: 'Vacancy Details', 'General Information', 'How to Apply', 'Check Eligibility & Apply' and 'Edit Appliction'.

9. Take a print out of the summary sheet. The Summary Sheet will also be forwarded to the e-mail provided by the candidates. Candidates may EDIT their submitted Application before Last date of submission of the online Application through the 'Edit Application' menu available on the top and bottom of the window.
