Qualification Details:
1. Project Assistant-II (CrP) - Essential: First class Post-graduate degree in Geology or equivalent. Research experience in relevant fields of geology Desirable Candidates having CSIR-NET and/or valid GATE score will be preferred. Experience in petrography/ micro-thermometric analysis/fluid inclusion studies
2. Project Assistan-II (CrP)- Essential: First class Post-graduate degree in Environmental Sciences or equivalent. Research experience in relevant fields of Environmental Sciences Desirable Candidates having CSIR-NET and/or valid GATE score will be preferred. Experience in environmental modelling studies/hydrogeochemistry/ecological characterization Experience in GIS/ MATLAB/Geochemist’s workbench/ Aquachem/Systat/Sigmaplot
3. Project Assistant-II (HyP) - Essential: First class Post-graduate degree in Geology/Marine Geology or equivalent Research experience in relevant fields of Geology Desirable Candidates having CSIR-NET and/or valid GATE score will be preferred. Experience in field and Laboratory work related to river basin analysis. Working knowledge in computer-based statistical packages
4. Project Assistant-II (HyP) - Essential: First class Post-graduate degree in Environmental Sciences or equivalent. Research experience in relevant fields of Environmental Sciences Desirable: Candidates having CSIR-NET and/or valid GATE Score will be preferred. Experience in hydrogeochemistry and nutrient fluxes of River Basins
5. Project Assistant-II (AtP) - Essential: First class Postgraduate Degree in Physics/Atmospheric Science/ Meteorology or equivalent. Research experience in relevant fields of Atmospheric Science Desirable: Candidates having CSIR-NET and/or valid GATE Score will be preferred Experience in meteorological data processing, quality checking, statistical analysis, programming languages like Fortran /MATLAB/Python
6. Project Assistant-II (AtP) - Essential: First class Postgraduate Degree in Electronics/Physics/Atmospheric Science/Meteorology/Hydrometeorology/Water Resources or equivalent Research experience in relevant fields of Atmospheric Science Desirable: Candidates having CSIR-NET and/or valid GATE Score will be preferred Experience in meteorological sensors/electronic instrumentations and computer programming skills (MATLAB, C++, C and Python).
7. Project Assistant-II (CGL) - Essential: First class Postgraduate Degree in Geology/Geoinformatics/Remote Sensing or equivalent Research experience in relevant fields of Geoinformatics Desirable: Candidates having CSIR-NET and/or valid GATE Score will be preferred Experience in processing of optical and microwave satellite images. Working experience with GIS packages such as ArcGIS/Q-GIS along with GIS programming for information system development
8. Project Assistant-II (CoP) - Essential: First class Postgraduate Degree in Oceanography/Ocean Science/Ocean Engineering/ Ocean Technology/Marine Structures/Physics / Marine Geology or equivalent. Research experience in Coastal Studies Desirable: Candidates having CSIR-NET and/or valid GATE Score will be preferred Experience in Modelling Work related to Coastal Processes and Coastal Applications using State-of-the art Numerical Modelling software, MATLAB Programming, data processing and analysis of measured data etc. Experience in coastal sediment sampling, analysis and data interpretation

Selection Procedure:
The candidates qualified after screening shall be called for a written test or direct Interview as decided by the committee constituted by the ESSO-NCESS.

Applicants are requested to carefully go through the full text of the advertisement and the instructions in particular.To apply, the applicant must fill the online application and upload scanned images of photograph, signature and relevant self-attested certificates pertaining to educational and professional qualifications, mark sheets for all academic years, proof of date of birth, experience certificate, caste certificate, NOC, etc. If the certificates are in a language other than English, attested translation should be uploaded.
2. The Candidates should produce the original certificates at the time of written test/ interview. Non-production of the original certificates/ production of original certificates at variance with the online submission details will result in disallowing the candidate from appearing for the written test / interview.
