Junior Resident - 12 Posts
Salary : Rs. 15,600 - 39,100/- Per Month

Other Qualifications :
1 .Post Name & Salary: Junior Resident - 15600- 39100/- + 5400/-(GP) Non Practicing allowance is also paid as per rules
2. Qualification: The candidate should have MBBS (including completion of Internship) or equivalent degree recognized by MCI wherever applicable.
Age :
For eligibility to applying for these posts upper age limit as on last date of submission of application will be 30 years.

Application fee of Rs. 1,000/- (non-refundable) is required to be submitted through Demand Draft in favour of Director, PGIMER, Chandigarh. No application fee is required for Women/PWD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates
Terms and Conditions :
1. The candidate who is already in government service shall submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the present employer at the time of Interview.Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification. The prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing the same does not entitle any candidate for selection.
2. The appointment is for a period of 03 months with effect from the date of joining. The appointment can also be terminated at any time, on either side, by giving one month’s notice or by paying one month’s salary, without assigning any reason or failure to complete the period of three months to the satisfaction of competent authority. The appointee shall be on the whole time appointment of the PGIMER, Chandigarh and shall not accept any other assignment, paid or otherwise and shall not engage himself/herself in a private practice of any kind during the period of engagement. He/She is expected to conform to the rules of conduct and discipline as applicable to the Institute employees. The appointee shall perform the duties assigned to him/her. The competent authority reserves the right to assign any duty as and when required. No extra/additional allowances will be admissible in case of such assignment.
3. In case, any information given or declaration by the candidate is found at any later stage to be false or if the candidate willfully suppresses any material information relevant to this appointment, he/she will be liable to be removed from the service and any action as deemed fit by the appointing authority shall be taken.
Selection Process :
Selection will be made on the basis of Interview Shortlisting of candidates for interview will be done on the basis of educational qualification, experience etc. and/or as per the shortlisting criteria as may be decided by the Competent Authority. In case large number of applications are received for any post, a Screening Test may be conducted for shortlisting of candidates and the same shall be notified in due course on the website of PGIMER, Chandigarh. The decision of Director, PGIMER, Chandigarh in this regard shall be final and binding.
