c. C & I: Full time regular Diploma in Instrumentation/ Electronics Engineenng with minimum 70% marks.
d. Mining: Full time regular Dipbma in Mining/ Mining & Mine Surveying Engineering Engineering with minimum 70% marks

General Information:
1. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply. Before applying, the candidate should ensure that he / she fulfills the eligibility criteria and other norms mentioned in this advertisement on the web site www.ntpccareers.net. All qualifications should be from Indian Institutes recognized by BTE/AICTE / appropriate statutory authority.
2. NO manual / paper application will be entertained. TA/DAwill not be paid to any candidate appearing for the Online Test. While applying for the post, the applicant should ensure that he / she fulfills the eligibility and other norms mentioned above, as on the specified dates and that the particulars furnished are correct in all respects.
3. In case it is detected at any stage of recruitment that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms and / or that he / she has fumished any incorrect I false information or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/her candidature will stand automatically cancelled.
4. If any of the above shortcoming(s) is / are detected even after appointment his / her services are liable to be terminated without any notice. In case a candidate has applied for more than one region or has applied multiple times , only his last application will be considered for further screening. The admit card indicating roll number, name of the allocated test center and guidelines for the test will be made available on the same site to the candidates found apparently eligible based on the online data. Selection Procedure:
1. Eligible candidates will have to undergo 2 stages Of Online Test (Computer Based Test). 1 %tage online test: In first stage, Online Aptitude Test (120 multiple questions) covering General English, Quantitative aptitude & Reasoning will be conducted. The duration of the test will be 2 hours. Each question carries 1 mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for wrong answer. There is qualifying marks (40% marks in case Of General category and 30% in case Of SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates).
2. The candidates will be shortlisted @ 1 : 10 for 2nd stage Online Test (Technical). There will be no weightage to online aptitude test in final selection. 2M stage Online Test: In 2nd stage, Online Technical Test (120 multiple questions) in respective discipline will be conducted. The duration Of the test will be 2 hours. Each question carries 1 mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for wrong answer. There is qualifying marks (40% marks in case of General category and 30% in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). Offer of appointment may be issued based on merit. No skill test will be conducted
How to Apply:
1. Eligible candidates have to apply through online registration system of NTPC only. To apply visit: www.ntpccareers.net with your valid e-rnail ID. The site is functional from 10.00 hours of 18.04.2018 to midnight of 09.05. 2018.
2. Candidate has to approach the nearby SBI branch with a printout Of the "pay-in-slip" which is available on the application registration portal of NTPC. The pay-in-slip printed from the portal should only be used for depositing the fee for proper crediting of amount in the allocated account.
3. On receipt of the money, the bank will issue a unique Journal Number and a Branch Code of the bank collecting the money. This journal number and the branch code are to be filled up by the candidate during online registration. Bank commission charges will be borne by the candidate.
4. In case the candidate deposits the fee in a wrong account, NTPC will not be responsible. There will not be any other mode of money collection Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates are therefore requested to verify their eligibility before paying the application fee.
5. All successfully enrolled candidates will be allowed to download the admit card from the site. Please note that the admit card will not be sent by post. Candidates are informed that scanned copies of pay-in slip (applicable for Gen/OBC only), photograph & signature (applicable for all) are required to be uploaded while applying for the post online.
