Qualification Details:
1. Essential: M.Sc. (Zoology/ Entomology), 1st Class Post Graduate Degree in Botany/Forestry /Chemistry/ Bio-technology/ Agriculture/ Horticulture. Master Degrees in Forestry/ Botany/ Environmental Science. Master Degree in Botany/ Forestry/ Life Sciences.
2. Desirable: Preference will be given to candidate having experience in field of agroforestry. Preference will be given to candidate having experience in field of entomology.
3. Project Title: 1. Studies on the changing Insect Pest status of High Altitudinal Transitional Zones and their management in Himachal Pradesh, 2. Evaluation of genetic superiority and stability of identified high active ingredient content accessions of Picrorhiza Kurroa Royale ex Benth., Va/eriana jatamansi Jone and Pedophyllum hexandrum Royle through multi-location trials and promotion of theircultivation amongst rural communities . 3. Assessment of vegetation in Kibber Wild Life Sanctuary. Distt. Lahaul Spiti, Himachal pradesh. 4. Survey and evaluation of Silvipastoral systems in Himachal Pradesh and its role in sustaining community livelihood.

All the interested candidates and having required/ essential educational qualification may attend walk-in- interview on 23-04-2018 starting at 10.30 AM in the Video Conferencing (VC) Room of the institute. The registration Of the candidates will start 9.30 AM and thereafter no application will be accepted. Candidates are to deposit their C.V. (giving details of Name, Date of birth, Father's Name, Permanent & Current Address, Educational qualification from High School/ Higher Secondary onwards with the name of Institution, Year of Passing, Marks obtained, Medium of study and field experience, with one passport size colour photograph affixed on it). They are also requested to attach self-attested photocopies of all the testimonials along with the application. The original mark-sheets, certificates, experience certificates etc are also required to be brought along with for verification on the day of interview.
