Job Location : Chennai
Salary: Rs. 51,300 - Rs. 73,000/- Per Month
Qualification Details:
i. Educational and other qualifications prescribed for direct recruitment: i) A Degree from a recognized university. ii) Seventeen years experience in Shipping / cargo operations / railway transportation in executive cadre in an Industrial / Commercial / Govt. Undertaking.
ii. In case of promotion / transfer/absorption / deputation, grades from which it should be made: For absorption through composite method, officers holding analogous posts or post of Traffic Manager in Category II ports with 2 years regular service or officers holding posts in the scale of pay of Rs.17500-22300 with 4 years regular service in the grade or officers holding posts in the scale of pay of Rs.16000- 20800 with 5 years regular service in the grade in the Traffic Dept in a Major port Trust will be eligible. For deputation, officers holding analogous posts or officers holding post of Traffic Manager and equivalent posts in Traffic Department in the scale of pay of Rs.18500-23900 with 2 years regular service in the grade or officers holding post of Sr.Dy.Traffic Manager and equivalent posts in Traffic Department in the scale of pay of Rs.16000-20800 and above with 5 years regular service in the grade in Govt./ Semi Govt./PSUs or Autonomous bodies will be eligible. The selection is by merit for which the bench mark in overall grading in the ACRs will not be below “Very good”.

General Instruction:
(a) Photocopy of ACRs of the applicant for the last five years duly attested.
(b) No Objection Certificate of respective Port Trust.
(c) Undertaking of the applicant not to withdraw if selected.
(d) Vigilance / Administrative Clearance of the candidate in the proforma prescribed.
(e) The veracity of the Certificates of the qualification obtained and the recognition of the same may be ensured and certified.
(f) The applications duly forwarded by the Employer / Forwarding Authority within the due date, viz. 14.05.2018, shall only be considered.
(g) Hence the Port Trusts are requested to forward the applications in full to reach the undersigned on or before 14.05.2018.
