Educational Qualification :

2. Qualifications, Experience and competencies required:
a. Master Degree in Leather Technology / Environmental Sciences / Environmental Engineering or any other related field.3-4 years of experience in project implementation with respect to industrial water management / wastewater treatment / water use efficiency. Prior experience of working with tanneries sector will be an advantage. (i) Knowledge of suitable models for salary fixing vis a vis JDs / Level of the position in the hierarchy for talent hiring
b. Excellent team working skills for coordination with internal teams and the external stakeholders to achieve results. (iii) Proven track record of talent acquisition (iv) Results driven approach with out of the box thinking to identify channels for talent hunt in conservation sector (v) Past experience/ knowledge of optimization of levels/ grades in the organization for the levels structure (i) Knowledge of suitable models for salary fixing vis a vis JDs / Level of the position in the hierarchy for talent hiring

3. The Job Profile: Coordinate the programme activities work in Kanpur engaging with tanneries and other stakeholders. Design and administer surveys and studies involving data collection, compilation analysis and developing reports. Liaison with tanneries, industry associations, government, private and academic institutions to execute the project deliverables. Design and implement local level training/workshops for the identified target groups/stakeholders as and when required.
Carry out any other responsibilities related to execution of Rivers for Life, Life for Rivers programme in the context of industrial pollution in other locations as per need of the programme.
Manager Qualification :
1. MBA-Marketing or Post Graduate with Marketing related qualifications from a recognized university.
2. Experience: About 6 – 8 years of experience in the field of Merchandising. Experience of corporate sales would be an added advantage.
3. Desired Skills and Abilities: Sales, marketing and business development. Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills Ability to work with a target oriented approach in a focused, methodical and planned manner. Confidence to make cold calls, follow up including with senior level contacts and close sales/ fundraising partnerships. Ability to network and form professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders. A team player for up-scaling merchandising activities.
