Other Qualifications :
1. Education and Experience:
i. A post-graduate or equivalent qualification/ degree in Law, Criminology, Human rights, Social Sciences, Development Study, Humanities or any other relevant discipline.
ii. At least 5-7 years of prior work experience in the field of training, Trafficking in Persons, human rights etc. especially in the regional and international context.
2. Duties and Responsibilities
i. Undertake desk research and analyze all the necessary documents/training modules, training materials to fully understand the ground situation and existing training material available for training law enforcement officials and
ii. public prosecutors on TIP (including the existing UNODC global training manuals).
iii. Carry out a stakeholder analysis to bring out the roles and responsibilities of key players and institutions. Map out the issues and identify the priorities in line with the objectives of this project. This should include consultations and meetings and key informant interviews with relevant stakeholders (Government, UN, INGOs, CSOs etc.) working on AHT.
iv. Produce training material i.e. power point presentations for existing training modules on TIP for law enforcement officials and public prosecutors and as well as for an orientation training program after consultations and review by the relevant agencies
v. Assist the UNODC project team in organizing and facilitating one training workshop for orienting the program staff based on the training agenda developed.
vi. Assist the UNODC project team in organizing and facilitating one training of trainers workshop for law enforcement officers and prosecutors based on the existing training module and the training tools developed.
