Programme Associate - 01 Post

Job Location : Dehradun

Qualification Details: 

1. Education: A minimum of Bachelors Degree in Economics, Commerce, Science, Management, or related field. A Masters Degree in the related field is desirable.

2. Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in administration and support for proposal development and project implementation. Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.). Experience in handling of web-based management systems.

3. Language Requirements: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and fluency in Hindi is required. Knowledge of regional language(s) of the project state would be an asset. 

4. Remuneration package is approx. Rs. 52,809/- per month (taxable). UNDP also offers additional benefits which include medical insurance coverage and limited pension reimbursement for contract holder and encourages work life balance to its employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:

i. Coordination between different stakeholders and their representatives

ii. Administration of budgets and functioning of the optimal cost-recovery system

iii. Liaison with state government functionaries, other UN agencies, public and private sector entities;

iv. Provide support in scoping of the development landscape in the state and translating opportunities into concrete Resource Mobilization Opportunities in collaboration with programme units of UNDP.

v. Project Planning and Development of all state level projects;

vi. Programme implementation

vii. Provide support to build UNDP’s engagement in the state through innovative and broad partnerships with the government, corporate sector, and civil society organizations

vii. Provide support to state in achievement of SDG’s
