Educational Qualification : B.Sc, M.Sc, M.Phil/Ph.D
Other Qualifications :
Essential Qualifications : A candidate should have a first class or a high second class B.Sc. & M.Sc. degrees in Physics with minimum average marks of 55% and has obtained Ph.D. or due to submit thesis within three months with research experience supported by publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics and Statistical Physics. A candidate who is expected to submit his/her Ph.D. thesis within three months from the deadline for this application mentioned above may also apply while submitting a separate declaration letter given by the supervisor mentioning the above three-month time-limit. This has to be submitted by the candidate along with his/her application. Desirable Qualifications : Previous experience in implementing Monte Carlo algorithms for many-body systems is highly desirable. Fellowship: As per rules of IACS.
