For Department of Post /Other Central Government Emoployees Only Eligible to Apply
1. Post Name & Pay: Staff Car Drivers - 5200-20200+Grade Pay-1900 under 6th CPC
2 .Eligibility Conditions:
a. Deputation/Absorption of the officials in the Departunent of Posts. From amongst the regular Dispatch Riders [Group-C] and MTS [Group-C] in the PB1[5200-20200+Grade Pay-1800 under 6th CPC] and in Pay Matrix level i. as per the revised Seventh pay Commission in the Departnent of Posts who possess valid Driving License for driving Light and Heavy Motor vehicles and on the basis of Driving test to assess the competence to drive Light and Heavy Motor vehicles.
b. Other Ministries of the Central Government and Armed Forces Personnel. From officials holding the post of Dispatch riders on regular basis or regular MTS Group-C emplolrees in the PB-l15200-20200+Grade Pay-1800 under 6tl'CPCI and in Pay Matuix level 1 .as per the revised Seventh pay Corn'rnission who .ftilI {ills the necessary qualifications prescribed
c. For Ex-sersicemen: The Armed Forces personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within period of one year and having the requisite experience and qualifications shall a'lso be considered. Such persons would 'be given deputation terms up to the date on which they are due for release from the armed force thereafter they may be continued on re-emplolrrnent.
3. Qualification: Pass in thelOth standard from a recognized Board or institute
4. Experience: Experience of Driving Light and Heavy Motor Vehicle for the at least three years. Possession of a valid Driving License for light and heary Motor vehicles. [ii] Knowledge of Motor mechanism.The candidate should be able remove minor defects in the vehicle
5. Period of probation: Two years for the re-employed.
Age: The maxrlum age limit for appointed by deputation shall not exceeding 56 years
