Western Railway, Mumbai is inviting applications for the vacant positions of Electrician, Turner, Welder (G&S). Further ITI Candidates for employing as Trade Apprentice under the Apprentice Act 1961, Electrical Department, EMU Workshop, Mahalaxmi, Western Railway, Mumbai - 400013.

Turner - 02 Posts

Welder (G&S) - 01 Posts

Training Period :- 1 Year for the above posts..

Age Limit: The candidates should have completed 15 Years of age and should not have completed 24 Years of Age as on Notification (i.e. 26/09/2017). The Upper Age relaxation – 05 Years of SC / ST, 03 Years for OBC.

Educational Qualification:-

SSC with 50% Marks and ITI Trade in Electrician / Turner / Welder

Application Fee:-

A Postal Order / Demand Draft (DD) of ₹ 100/- (A Non-refundable) payable to CHIEF CASHIER, CHURCHGATE, WESTERN RAILWAY. There is no fee for SC / ST / PH / Women Candidates.

Selection Process: -

Selection of the eligible candidates for imparting training under the Apprentice Act 1961 will be based on the merit list which would be prepared taking the average of percentage marks obtained the candidates in the both matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) and ITT Examination giving equal weightage to both. There will be no Written Test or Viva.
